Cooplands helps LadBaby raise money for Trussell Trust by donating proceeds from sausage roll sales to help the charity end child poverty.

Between now and 3rd January 2020, from every 4 sausage rolls for a £1 sold in Cooplands shops, 5p will go to the charity, Trussell Trust.

LadBaby is a dad blogger with a very similar passion to us…sausage rolls! Last year he was Christmas number 1 in the charts with the song ‘we built this city on sausage rolls’. This year he and his family are hoping to get to number 1 again with ‘I love sausage rolls’, a reinvention of Joan Jett’s 1982 classic ‘I love rock ‘n’ roll’.

The blogger is donating all the profits from the song to Trussell Trust and Cooplands want to help. The charity is working to stop UK hunger and poverty. They have a network of food banks which provide emergency food and support to people in a crisis.

CEO Belinda Youngs commented, “Christmas holidays should mean fun and enjoying family time together but knowing that some families are going without the food they need is heartbreaking. We loved watching LadBaby’s video and felt we could do something to support their fundraising aims. Our sausage rolls are a regional best-seller so it seemed a fitting link and we hope the money we raise will go towards The Trussell Trust’s mission to protect every family’s right to good food all year round.”

Help us raise as much as we can by popping into a shop before 3rd January for your 4 pack of sausage rolls.
