Cooplands students sweet success at ABST Conference
Following on from the success at the National Bakery Awards, Cooplands bakery students have brought home another haul of trophies from the Alliance for Bakery Students and Trainees (ABST) annual conference and competition.
Cooplands enjoyed widespread success, with the celebrity cook, Mary Berry, presenting two students, Tracy Raybound and Jonathan Gott with their awards. Winning gold in 3 categories and taking home a total of 8 awards, including the celebrated Founders Cup, Cooplands students excelled once again.
Bakery Group Manager, John Ruddock, said:
“We’re delighted with the results from the ABST Conference and it’s great to see our students get the recognition they deserve – they're a real credit to the company and they worked tirelessly for this event. It’s great to see a group of students so passionate about their craft and we’re proud to call them our own!”
