Opening in a matter of weeks, we’re looking for a dynamic and forward thinking Manager to come in and lead the way.
This is a brand new role, with brand new facilities and we’re all excited and ready for the challenge…we just now need the most important part - the team!
Responsible for building this new team of c20 individuals and creating a hardworking and massively fast paced fun environment – we need an individual who is experienced in developing relationships and wants to put their previous food retail skills to use in a brand new concept.
Your duties will include:
- Building, leading, motivating and developing a new team to achieve targets, to control stock and meet high standards of customer service, display and hygiene
- Creating, developing and training a team to ensure each individual can fulfil their true potential
- Building relationships and ordering and supplying other Flamingo Land food and beverage venues throughout the park
- Working with the Area Manager and Cooplands Leadership team to identify and maximise opportunities for Cooplands within the location
- Implementing the delivery of an exceptional, swift and friendly service for every customer
- Planning and leading shifts throughout the week, cashing up and opening and closing the shop
- Administrative tasks such as keeping all records up to date, staff training, rotas, payroll, health and safety and dates for stock rotation
- Understanding and jumping in when necessary in preparing food, working on the ovens, using the tills and keeping displays vibrant and the shop clean and tidy
- Promoting upselling opportunities appropriately to customers to increase shop sales and supporting profit protection through effective cost control
The successful candidate will have:
- A proven track record of leadership experience in customer service within a retail or catering background
- Efficient planning, organisational, numeracy and computing skills
- Leadership skills to inspire the team to deliver great results
- High standards and the passion to succeed
- Problem solving skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of different people
- Excellent communication skills
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a management role in retail or the catering industry

Shift Pattern
Shift: 5 days per week Monday to Sunday hours between 6am - 8.30pm
