Work Hours: Thursday & Friday 15 hours per week

Pay Rate

£8.85 per hour

30% staff discount
28 days holiday (including bank holidays) to start, rising up to 33 days with long service (pro rata)

About the role

We are looking for a new member of staff to join our team, based at our offices in Hull

The successful applicant will have good keyboard skills, an eye for accuracy and an excellent telephone manner.  Working independently, you will be liaising with staff in the bakery and also at our Scarborough and Durham offices, as well as dealing with suppliers, ordering stationery and catering supplies, so you must be confident working under your own initiative and the ability to prioritise effectively is essential.

Responsibilities will include processing orders from our shops and sandwich vans, fulfilling stationery requests from shops and Area Managers, printing labels, stock control and general office duties such as filing, photocopying, mail distribution, etc

Your normal hours of work will be 9.30am-5.30pm with a 30 min lunch break, working Thursday & Friday

However, some flexibility is required as you will be expected to provide additional cover for holidays/sickness as needed – working up to 5 days when cover is required as this is in effect a job share role and the office is open Monday-Friday.

  • Some flexibility in your availability for working hours would be an advantage (you may be required to work different shifts each week, or asked to work overtime).
